Terms of Service

Last updated: September 11, 2026

No legal entity has been registered yet. This service is operated by an individual. Before these terms can bind anyone, the operator must register a legal entity. Until then, this document describes the intended terms of service but does not constitute a legally binding agreement.

What this service does

Clauseplain accepts pasted contract text and returns a clause-by-clause analysis generated by an AI model. The analysis includes summaries, category labels, and unusual-term flags. The output is intended to help you understand what the contract says — it is not legal advice.

Not legal advice

The analysis provided by Clauseplain is for informational purposes only. It is generated by an AI model, may contain errors or omissions, and does not constitute legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is created by using this service. Always consult a qualified lawyer before signing a contract.

No accounts or stored data

Clauseplain does not create accounts, store user profiles, or retain your contract text on any server. Each analysis is processed in one request and forgotten when the response is delivered. The Save feature stores data locally in your browser only.

Service availability

This service is provided "as is" without any warranty. The operator makes no guarantees about uptime, accuracy of analysis, or continued availability of the free tier. Rate limits (10 requests per minute per IP) are applied to ensure fair usage.

Billing

Clauseplain is currently free. There is no paid plan and no subscription to purchase.

A paid tier would need accounts, subscription state, and a live connected payment processor — none of which exist on this site yet. If a paid plan is introduced in the future, this section will be updated with the terms, and a test-mode checkout period will precede any live charges.

For billing or support questions: clauseplain@agen2ic.ai.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use this service to analyse contracts containing hate speech, illegal content, or material that violates the rights of others. You agree not to circumvent rate limits or attempt to reverse-engineer the analysis pipeline.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use this service, including but not limited to reliance on the analysis provided.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

Governing law and jurisdiction have not been determined — no legal entity has been registered. This section will be updated when the operator registers an entity and chooses a governing jurisdiction.
